Status Update

If you're new to our team, or simply haven't read our post as to why Versailles has missed us on their 2011 World Tour, we'll recapitulate the main reason here: The major factor as to why Versailles hasn't been able to come perform in the United States is because they haven't been able to find promoters willing to sponsor them.

For this reason, since the creation of this team, with the help of a couple of fans (thank you guys!), we have been contacting promoters across the nation, and all have told us the same thing. There are not enough fans.

What do they mean by this?

Judging by the number of people who follow our street team on Facebook and Twitter, and visit our homepage, our members are in the lower one hundred range at this present time.

We're not saying we require special treatment, but unlike many of the countries Versailles is visiting on their tour, the United States has a very wide area to cover. Therefore, before promoters even consider bringing them here, they need to see that there is profit to bringing them. This means that they need to see hundreds, perhaps thousands, of fans before they move a finger.

So until then, all we can do is promote the band and create as many fans as possible. That is why we must reiterate that your participation in our promotion projects is extremely important.

Let us fill America with roses.

P.S. Also, you're not to limited to just printing out flyers to promote them! For example, some fans have printed businesses cards to hand out, others cosplay as the members to pique people's curiosities, etc. Anything helps, just spread the word!
