New release: Live DVD

Recently Versailles has announced the release of a DVD featuring footage from their performance at the NHK Hall December 20th.

Versailles Tour 2012 "Chateau de Versailles" -Final- DVD

Price: ¥6,300 tax included (approx. $70 USD)


Disc 1
Live DVD | will contain footage of the ENTIRE concert, including the encore, totaling 21 songs (as told to us by Teru in this blog entry here).
Disc 2
Bonus Disc | will contain clips from Versailles' 2012 tour in Japan, and a documentary of the concert at NHK Hall.

  • Versailles is also taking pre-orders for a pamphlet titled "After Live" consisting of 40 pages for an additional ¥3,150 tax included (approx. $35 USD)
  • With a general pre-order one receives memorial cards signed by the members of Versailles.

Pre-orders can be placed here. The deadline to place the pre-order is 11:59pm February 10th (Japan Time).

NOTE: Overseas customers cannot pre-order the DVD from this site!

We contacted CDJapan in regards to the DVD, and they mentioned that for now it will only be sold on the YMN site. However, in the future (if) it is to be sold regularly, they definitely plan to have it listed. So what can the overseas customer do?

Japan Discoveries is offering  DVD packages:
The pre-order deadline on Japan Discoveries is February 7th.

Honestly, we do not recommend ordering from Japan Discoveries due to the drastic difference in price. One might be better off using a shopping service, and of course a friend in Japan always helps.
