January 4th is Versaillesphilia day! Come show your love for the amazing band that has touched our hearts.
Last year, fans from around the world joined together and met to celebrate their love for Versailles. With the announcement of the release of Versailles' album Philia, as well Masashi's first live with the band as official member, and it being a year exactly since Versailles dedicated a live to Jasmine You, there seemed no more perfect a date to express our love for the band.
To celebrate this year, street teams from far and wide are joining forces again and asking fans to tweet "WeAreVersailles" (without any spaces) starting January 4th, 12:00am Japan Standard Time.
For the US that would be:
Eastern: 1/03 at 10:00am
Central: 1/03 at 9:00am
Mountain: 1/03 at 8:00am
Pacific: 1/03 at 7:00am
Alaska: 1/03 at 6:00am
Hawaii- Aleutian: 1/03 at 5:00am
Please note that midnight January 4th Japanese time converts to the morning of January 3rd for us!
If you can't make it at exactly midnight Japanese time don't sweat it! It is Versaillesphilia day after all, and we'll be celebrating until the day is over. Formed in 2007, Versailles -Philharmonic Quintet- is a Japanese, Visual Kei band whose concept is to achieve "absolute beauty and extreme aestheticism" both visually, and through their music. Their most notable attributes are their French rococo- inspired costumes, duel guitar sound, and heavy but melodic compositions.
