Ustream Chat Outline

Hello, everyone! Thank you to all of the people who could join us on the Ustream chat! If you liked it, we will probably start doing monthly updates that way.

Here were going to try to briefly review everything we've covered in the video because we were too stupid to press the record button (sorry, guys -.-). In all fairness, it would probably be pretty boring to watch without the chat. We'll try to fix that in future streams.

1) The lovely Vivi (@_stitchDoLL) came up with the wonderful idea to send Versailles two scrapbooks in honor of their 5th Anniversary together. She will be in charge of creating the "History of Versailles" scrapbook and the Street Team will take care of the fan scrapbook.

It's a very exciting idea and we're very enthusiastic to try it, but before everyone get's into it, we will have to talk to Versailles' manager about shipping and other complications with a large delivery like that. We will continue to update everyone on the status of this project as we get more news and feedback on it and make a large blog post about it if the idea comes to fruit.

2) The poster project. The poster project. Guys, we love you all and we love Versailles. We want to see them back here in the United States, but we can't do that with the current number of fans. We created the posters, not just because we love looking at Versailles, but because posters are a great way to promote the band. Tori created all of the posters by herself, with love. We're not asking you to print hundreds of posters, dry up the ink market, and cover every surface of your city with the likeness of Kamijo and the gang; we're asking for  each fan to print and hang one. Just one. Hang it in a place that gets plenty of visitors and, preferably, take a picture of yourself while doing so and post it on our facebook. We want to see lots of fans showing their support for Versailles.

In a similar vein, someone in the chat during the stream suggested that we create posters with tabs on the bottom to prevent people from stealing them. We think that's a great idea (especially if it gets more people to hang posters) and we will create one and post it ASAP.

3) Radha (@Yololtanextli) of the North American Revolution gave us the idea quite some time ago to create and print business cards with info about Versailles on them to hand out. We encourage fans to do so, especially if you frequently visit conventions and/or have access to large groups of people you can pass them out to. ALSO, business cards are ridiculously cheap to print - something like $10 for 500 "premium" cards on Vistaprint.

4) We were introduced to several other amazing and creative ideas to promote Versailles towards the end of the chat. Some of the best included Versailles cosplay, JRock clubs, info booths at conventions, fan pages, posting in forums, and the like. We encourage ALL kinds of promotion. Anything that will get people to listen to them. You don't need to ask us to start promoting them, however we would love updates on your endeavors.

And last, but not least, we would love feedback from everyone. Whether you participated or didn't get the chance, we would still love your questions, comments, concerns, complaints, ideas, and anything else you guys can dish out. Seriously guys, anytime. Just in case, we'll link all of the ways to contact us here:
